On Jan 2. we will be going to a 12 hour time limit for picks. If you miss your pick the next owner is on the clock. You may jump in with your pick whenever, but the draft will proceed even if you don't pick.

Probably a pretty good idea. No facts to back it up but interest seems to be waning and we are only in the 6th round. Later rounds would take forever.

One question, will the clock be suspended at any time? For example, say between 12 AM and 6 AM EST since most people are asleep at that time. Or will it run continuously regardless of what time it is, so that way if the person ahead of you makes a pick at midnight or 1 AM you better hope and pray you have enough time to get on the morning as you'll only have until about noon to make your pick.

That's a great point. The clock will pause between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m.

Picks can still be made at that time, but the clock just won't be a factor.

So I've got this straight- Swagger picked at 2:15A or so; Sluggers is on the clock as of 7:00A? I'm sure he'll be here sooner but I can pick at 7:00P? Let's say Swagger had picked at 10:00P last night. The clock for Sluggers ran from then until 1:00A (3 hours). I would then be able to pick at 4:00P today?

You are correct. We had both set the first two like we started at 6:00 by mistake. I put the Sluggers time up. You will be on after the 7:00 limit.
